Van Meer operates according to the established Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System. Our comprehensive business process provides the basis for this system and standards such as NEN-EN-ISO 9001, VCA* and NEN-EN-IEC 60079-19 are incorporated within this. Our focus on Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) is embedded in all our services, including customer service. All procedures are standardised and implemented according to certifications obtained. This philosophy is translated by management and executives into annual improvement targets that are recorded in an action list during the annual management review and which are monitored by the QHSE Manager.

Health & safety
VCA (Safety Checklist for Contractors)
The Safety Checklist for Contractors (VCA) is a certified checklist for contractors that demonstrates that procedures and work are carried out in accordance with the appropriate laws and regulations. All Van Meer employees hold a VCA certificate and knowledge is tested and kept up-to-date on a regular basis via toolbox meetings.

LMRA
The Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA) is a general risk assessment all employees carry out before starting work. The LMRA procedure places safety front and centre in practice at Van Meer.
